Synopsis:



This session introduces Purposeful Lean†, governance that integrates continuous improvement (Kaizen), radical transformation (Kaikaku) and breakthrough innovation (Kakushin) into a single, coherent system.


By aligning decisions around purpose, people, place and planet - and applying practical tools such as Purposeful Decision Filters - organisations can connect daily improvement, step-change transformation and game-changing innovation in a way that scales across teams and functions.


The session will show how organisations increase people engagement, remove barriers to innovation, and create sustained improvement by making change people-powered in the broadest sense, with AI used to support - not replace - human capability.

  • Using Purposeful Decision Filters† to embed purpose into everyday decision-making.

  • Leveraging AI with Purpose† to remove voluminous low-value work while strengthening human capability.


Listeners will learn a clear, practical model for turning fragmented improvement activity into a coherent, scalable system - joining continuous improvement with continuous innovation - and learning from companies leading the way.
