Purposeful Policy - Purposeful Government

To turn this country around the current Labour Government (and society as a whole) will need to be clear what this Government is for - beyond their original 'purpose' (i.e. to commit to as little as possible to gain power and to get the previous Government out).

Following a nebulous promise of "Change", little has "changed", except for a large and wide-ranging set of tax increases and a colossal expansion in government debt. There has also been numerous poor policy decisions, and many inevitable U-turns.

The electorate needs to see 'why' they should vote for them again, i.e. what the 'purpose' of this Government is and how they are going to become a 'Purposeful Government' - a trusted, 'Purpose Driven Government'.

The early (and much publicised) mission-driven approach to government appears to have failed, and for a multiplicity of reasons (e.g. fundamental, structural, and foundational).

This country can be turned around with Purposeful Government - i.e. by applying Purposeful Governance, Purposeful Policies, and Purposeful Leadership, and by engaging a Purposeful Movement (which we call Gen P) to unite the country in collectively co-creating a thriving, flourishing, Purposeful Britain.

Nothing else will do, nothing else will work. The newly elected Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, appears to understand this (click here to find out more).
