Repurposing Education - Creating Purposeful Education

An insightful post by Associate Professor of Economics, Jonathan Boymal, recently made many important points, and explicitly asked the key question: "what is education for?"

If many people are saying it's 'not fit for purpose' then it needs to be 'repurposed' - explicitly defining for what purpose it exists - clarifying what education is for and why with all stakeholders involved.

With the "risk of detrimental cognitive offloading", and with many saying 'AI is about to change everything', explicit repurposing has never been more critical. 

Only when education is properly repurposed (and built into the DNA) can we say it is 'purposeful' ('full of purpose') - i.e. 'Purposeful Education'.

'Purposeful Education' taking place in Purposeful Learning Environments, including Purposeful Schools, Purposeful Academies, Purposeful Colleges and Purposeful Universities.

Vibrant environments where Purposeful Coaches help Purposeful Learners to practice/learn new skills, develop wisdom, find meaning, find each other, and help to shape a thriving, flourishing future.
